I don't know bout susceptible to personal attacks, but I have two teenage daughters and I can't figure them out yet. I'll say something that I think might get them upset and they are fine with it. Then I'll say something, where I see no harm, and suddenly I'm the most evil person in the world and they go all emotional on me. Women are too complex for me to figure out. Perhaps men are just too simple minded (my wife keeps telling me that).
