This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

block: ataflop: fix breakage introduced at blk-mq refactoring

to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     block-ataflop-fix-breakage-introduced-at-blk-mq-refa.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

Please do also add commit d28e4dff085c5a87025c9a0a85fb798bd8e9ca17, which
added more fixes to 6ec3938cff95.

It did? It's not marked that way, because this is commit 86d46fdaa12a
("block: ataflop: fix breakage introduced at blk-mq refactoring"), not
commit 6ec3938cff95 ("ataflop: convert to blk-mq").

Yep, I messed up the Fixes: tag there - 86d46fdaa12a was an incomplete fix to 6ec3938cff95, so d28e4dff085c should have been marked as Fixes: 86d46fdaa12a.

Also, it doesn't apply, so I couldn't take it anyway :(

I see. That's not hard to fix, as it turns out.

If you want it here, please provide a working backport.

Will do. Need to read up on the proper tags to use first though.

Cheers,

	Michael

thanks,
