This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled drm/amd/display: Update clock table to include highest clock setting to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: drm-amd-display-update-clock-table-to-include-highes.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit c55d59c5334fee7e5a519df89c0fd5522e3d9357 Author: Swapnil Patel <Swapnil.Patel@xxxxxxx> Date: Wed Mar 1 14:33:33 2023 -0500 drm/amd/display: Update clock table to include highest clock setting [ Upstream commit 2d99a7ec25cf456cd3680eb314d6454138e5aa64 ] [Why] Currently, the clk manager matches SocVoltage with voltage from fused settings (dfPstate clock table). And then corresponding clocks are selected. However in certain situations, this leads to clk manager not including at least one entry with highest supported clock setting. [How] Update the clk manager to include at least one entry with highest supported clock setting.
