This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled usb: host: xhci: mvebu: Iterate over array indexes instead of using pointer math to the 5.15-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: usb-host-xhci-mvebu-iterate-over-array-indexes-inste.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.15 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 6abd186d6c46ed3f0d58f911fdcf72d95eb91e5e Author: Kees Cook <keescook@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat Feb 4 10:36:52 2023 -0800 usb: host: xhci: mvebu: Iterate over array indexes instead of using pointer math [ Upstream commit 0fbd2cda92cdb00f72080665554a586f88bca821 ] Walking the dram->cs array was seen as accesses beyond the first array item by the compiler.
