Look at the Server and see how much disk space you have for the mounted partition that hold the sent box ( for example/home/vpopmail/domains/xxx.com/).out of disk space
#mount
#df -h
If the mount is full then it's time to do some house keeping. Sometimes you can also have quotas on mail accounts, check this if the drive comes back with plenty of space free.
