Hm. Checked code. SquirrelMail 1.4.x has same workaround. You have some
plugin or code which does not use standard plugin init functions. It is
either compatibility plugin or custom modifications made by you in
SquirrelMail scripts or configuration or you load scripts with php
auto_prepend_file option.
