Managing folders on Thunderbird and SquirrelMail

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Been reading about this, but haven't found a solution - just a headache.

Configuration is:
Ubuntu 8.0.4
Postfix 2.5.1
Dovecot 1.0.10
SquirrelMail 1.4.3

Manage folders (IMAP) is working, but with a snafu. I can see and
manage folders on Thunderbird. I can see and mange folders in
SquirrelMail. But SquirrelMail shows them twice. One set of folders
appears indented and clicking on one gives an "invalid mailbox name".
The other set of folders works fine.

All incoming mail is stored in /var/spool/mail/<user>. All mailboxes
(mbox) are stored in /var/home/mail.

There is a .subscriptions file. In it, Thunderbird seems to include
lines like this:

/home/<user>/mail/<foldername>

There is a duplicate set of lines that SquirrelMail seems to create that
look like:

<foldername>

How can I fix this to remove the duplicates?

Mike
