I have searched for hours and hours looking for a solution to this problem to no avail. I'm hoping someone here can help. I have SM 1.4.17 installed on a Fedora core 9 server with php version 5.2.6 and apache 2.2.9 Problem is when attempting to download an attachment such as .xls or .doc, the attachment becomes corrupted, zip files come thorough just fine. It seems like an decoding issue, the file name is preserved fine, and it saves ok, but when viewed, it's corrupted. Using Thunderbird or Outlook to get the file attachment and it comes through fine. I can send attachments fine, it's only when downloading them via the SM interface that there's a problem. I tried removing all plugins, with the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
