Squirrel Mail slow

Hi Guys,

My mail server has been running fine for the lasy 8 months, however I had to
hard reset it the other day.

Since then Squirrelmail has been really slow to respond, 90% of the time it
takes up to 10 seconds for a request to take effect, or even for the login
screen to come up, the other 10% of the time it is fast like it used to be.

POP and SMTP work fine when using outlook or another email client, and as a
test I setup another website on the email server to make sure it wasnt
apache playing up, that also works fine.

I had a similar thing happen last year, squirrelmail really fast until a
hard reset, then slow as hell. I never was ablew to fix it and so moved the
email server to a new box, really dont wanna do it this time though :(

Any ideas what would cause this? database is fine, it has been optimised and
checked for errors.

Regards
