When I migrated "domain1.com" to the new server, I changed accordingly also "webmail.domain1.com". That same server is also configured to respond to "webmail.domain2.com" and unfortunately I have people with "domain1.com" accounts doing so. Parsing the login domain from either the URL or the SERVER_NAME doesn't guarantee 100% success - because if a user reaches SM from "webmail.domain2.com" he won't be allowed to login.
