Inyho you could help or tell us what about the development stream
isn't working for you.

Templating has already been completed - it is already possible to
create a mobile-targetted skin set. The work that is left to be done
is solidify the templates, pull out the straggling bits of HTML from
the core, and build up the RPC interface so AJAX-like calls can do
more. There also happen to be many other targeted improvements in our
development stream, like move to all-Unicode that hold up release as a
stable product just yet.
