i did the chages and now both my imap and smpt server is the actual public
and it worked like a charm.

grt man .. thanks a million

actually in SQmail perl conf.pl => server settings => i chose sendmail and
not SMTP . so the option of setting IP was not displayed but when i chose
SMTP it was fine

thnks guys

btw do u have any link or exampls how i could setup pop b4 smtp for
sendmail since i would like to enable tht option in SQ mail server setting
