This relates to a squirrelmail 1.5.1 setup on a FreeBSD 6.2 stable machine, updated and installed on Feb 23 2007. It has apache22 and php-4.4.5. I am getting the following error when trying to get to the login page, with resultant blank page.. [Sat Mar 03 18:11:47 2007] [error] [client 217.147.80.10] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_id() in /usr/local/www/squirrelmail-devel/functions/global.php on line 240 Yet I have a very similar, all the same config files except the hostnames running here in my workshop, but it has php-4.4.4 and it works perfectly I poked around and found found php bug #40514, but I am not sure if this applies here, can anyone shed any light on this, php-4.4.5 a no go area, would I be better of going to php 5? -- Bill ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
