Re: December 31 1969 Issue

I understand the security concern, however, the system is not exposed to the Internet and I am comfortable with my security stance and track record.

Headers are listed below, sanitized for obvious reasons. PNG is attached with the view in the 1.2.7 version.

My location is GMT -7 so the date is actually 5pm Dec 31 1969 here but Jan 1 midnight at GMT 0.

I installed the current (1.4.9a) version of SM with PHP 5.2.0 to see if the problem persists, waiting on access to a user's mailbox by the user to confirm.

Attic, most probly with a lot of security flaws.

I have noticed from time to time that I will get an email which shows a
date (when viewing the email) of December 31, 1969.

This is impossible. In *nix, the Big Bang was exactly on Jan 1st 1970.
Before this date, there was only a big black nothing (SCNR ;-))

I have never seen this issue come in on a regular email sent from one
person to another, just from automated systems sending email.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Without the headers, it is hard to tell.

Rainer
