Query: SELECT "INBOX" Failed

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I have done a search for other errors similar to this and found many, but the details of mine seem to be unique.  The complete error reads as:

ERROR: Could not complete request.

Query: SELECT "INBOX"

Reason Given: SELECT failed: when syncing "./bincimap-cachexxAU1T":Bad file descriptor

This only happens for one user, not anyone else.  The "xxAU1T" part changes every time I refresh to random characters.  The folders that are broken are Inbox and Quarantine (also part of the Inbox).  All user-created folders seem to be working fine.  I can browse to sent and trash without any errors, but they are also both empty.  The user was on vacation for 5 days and then came back, and now has 172 unread e-mails in the Inbox.  However, the quota is not anywhere near being reached.  When the user tries to login via Outlook, it does not connect to the server at all and gives no useful error message.

This is Squirrelmail 1.4.6

I appreciate any help you can give.
