automatic mail forwarding to a LAN IP addr or server name

I am new to this and not very I.T. literate so any answers in idiots English please.

At the moment I have one sco unix server for an industry specific application which also has sendmail included. The industry specific application receives emails itself to auto update information one of these files is “fwbedi”

Over the last two weeks we have had serious problems with the sendmail not sending the “I have received your email” response so the same emails keep coming as though stuck in a loop and uses all the server systems memory.

To try and solve this problem I want to take all user’s email away from this server so

I have just set up a new server running centos operating system. I then went

to http://ewms.sourceforge.net/index.php and downloaded the following:

EWMS

the Enterprise WebMail Solution for Linux

  • runs on enterprise-class Linux OS - CentOS 4 or Redhat Enterprise 4
  • use Courier-IMAP, a fast, scalable, enterprise IMAP/POP3 server
  • use Maildir, a faster and more efficient way to store mail
  • use MailScanner, A Free Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam Filter, Over 500,000 downloads
  • use ClamAV, a GPL virus scanner, fast virus database update
  • use SquirrelMail, a standards-based webmail package written in PHP4, with a lot of plugins pre-configured.
  • use SMTP Authentication that supported by Sendmail, a most mature and powerful MTA.
  • EWMS is very easy to install, just download, extract, run one install script to get everything done within half an hour.

I have set up a total of 40 users including the system file for the original server “fwbedi”  How can I arrange that any emails that come into “fwbedi” automatically get sent on to the other server.

Please can any replies give full idiots instructions. Thanks in advance
