fcgid - Premature end of script headers?

I've been using SM with mod_php and it's been fine for ages. I recently
switched to using fcgid but found that it broke SM even though the rest
of my server (which includes an InvisionBoard forum) works fine. I
found this in the log...

[Sat Jul 08 14:57:06 2006] [error] [client 87.113.25.110] Premature end
of script headers: right_main.php, referer:
https://secure.kerami-tek.com/mail/src/left_main.php

I've seen the wiki page about this error but it seems to assume that
you're using mod_php. I know that some people are using FastCGI so this
should work, right? I'm currently using 1.4.6. I'll move up to 1.4.7
now if you think that'll help.
