Hi all, Firstly, may I apologise for the crosspost. I can't determine whether this is an issue with Squirrelmail or with Courier IMAP. I hope somebody can shed some light on it. We are using courier-imap 4.1.1, with squirrelmail 1.4.6. I'm seeing the following in squirrelmail with server-side sorting switched on, when a user access his inbox. ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server. Query: SORT (FROM) ISO-8859-1 ALL. I have read that switching off server-side sorting "cures" this, however with it off, it's unusably slow and runs out of memory. The user has 80000 (small) messages in his folder. I'd appreciate any insight e.g. is 80000 messages considered too many? When I'm waiting for the inbox to do the server-side sort that produces the error, I can confirm that cpu and ram usage are very low, so I would hazard a /guess/ that this is a bug rather than running out of resources. There is If there is any more useful information that I can give, please let me know. Antony Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
