Okay, so I ended up just changing the cn: to the email address and  
then I added the variable $username to autopopulate the DN field.   
The next thing is they want the password autopopulated too . . . I  
don't have even the slightest clue how to implement that.  My whole  
problem is this:  Management only wants a select few to have access  
to this company roster I'm trying to implement.  So, would it be  
easier just to list the few people in the e.g. ldapquery.php file and  
then only have the plugin available for those users?
