The problem is the external ACL-helper, started by squid. It runs as "nobody" actually, but it needs to start a special program, which must run as root. FYI, openwrt is a shrinked-down LINUX, for embedded systems with limited resources, without any user besides the admin. openwrt often is used for smart routers, for example.
