Please see my previous email if you want to improve your chances of getting a correct answer to that and other related questions. In summary: Squid logs why it made an immediate-hit, immediate-miss, or revalidate-and-then-decide decision. There are approximately 100 factors that affect that decision. If you want folks to speculate, keep posting questions. If you want an answer, collect and share those logs. And, yes, Squid needs a better interface for triaging caching decisions than studying detailed cache.logs. You already know what to do to add that very useful feature: http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/AboutSquid#How_to_add_a_new_Squid_feature.2C_enhance.2C_of_fix_something.3F Alex. _______________________________________________ squid-users mailing list squid-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.squid-cache.org/listinfo/squid-users
