Hey, First note that 2.7 is very old and do not support HTTP 1.1 which lync might require. How do you configure you Lync client? Also note that the client uses a CONNECT method which is a very special one that in your case is allowed. The issue you are probably having is not related 100% to squid since the basic logs shows that it allows the connection to be forwarded towards the destination server.
