There is no specific code for the URL domain at this point.

You can work around it with the Host: header. %{Host}>h

i think i did consider that, but found that exception cases did exist
where URL != Host Header.  i think those cases were cloud or co-hosted
sites, or load balanced sites (geographically, such as CDNs).  i dont
have the logs anymore (or have to search further to find them), but i do
recall finding cases where that was not a usable work around.

not sure what an RFE requires, so how might one be requested for this
kind of feature?

This one should be simple so asking (done) and a donation for what you think a few hours of my time is worth (PayPal buttons at http://treenet.co.nz/projects/squid/) and I should be able to produce a patch.
