The Squid HTTP Proxy team is very pleased to announce the availability
of the Squid-3.4.0.3 beta release!

This release contains the final feature polish for 3.4 series.

Changes to note:

* key=value pairs returned from authentication and external ACL helpers
are now treated as annotations on the transaction.

This means the %note log format and ICAP/eCAP adaptation are able to
receive and handle custom keys and values from these helpers.

All users of prior 3.4 beta releases are urged to upgrade to this
release as soon as possible.

All users interested in 3.4 features are encouraged to upgrade and test
this release.

As usual this release contains all the fixes passed on to 3.3 series
 alongside its own changes.

See the ChangeLog for the list of other minor changes in this release.

  about squid.conf changes.
