Hi,

I have successfully setup squid 2.7 STABLE 9 on Debian 7.1. However, when
I tried to download CD iso(s) via squid proxy :-

Please upgrade to squid3 package. Then if you can, upgrade to the 3.3 package from Sid repository. The Debian stable version packages are unfortuately quite a bit behind on bug fixes.

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/7.1.0/i386/iso-cd/debian-7.1.0-i386-netinst.iso

The download completed prematurely after downloading 80MB instead of full
size 277MB. When I download the CD iso(s) directly from browser, it
completed without any problem.

The access.log reads :-

The store.log reads :-

1380707957.765 RELEASE -1 FFFFFFFF 69AC8CFE98F0F4A9EE4941188384AA71 302

I hope someone could advise what went wrong and how to fix it.

The connection to server apparently timed out waiting for something.
More will be difficult to say, its been many years since anyone on the dev team worked on 2.7 code.
