The "intercept" option is the successor of "transparent"?

I run Debian7-shipped Squid3 which is 3.1.20.

Sure.

Cause found but problem not solved: It's the transparent option!

Running as normal proxy server, the portal login runs without problems. Now
I have to contact the support of the site again and ask if they really
checked it wih a transparent proxy.

Thank you very much Antony for the transparent/intercept hint.
