I do not see any facebook stuff in access.log.

I'm using squid in transparent mode.

If I connect my pc directly to the modem then facebook works.

what are you trying to do with squid?
if it works for other sites but not for facebook check if you do use facebook or facebook with SSL.

Also whether your clients are using IPv4 or IPv6 to access facebook. It is an IPv6-enabled website these days. "transparent mode" as commonly spoken about is IPv4-only.

Amos.

Thanks for replying.

So, what do I need to do? Upgrade?

You need to look for the things Eliezer and I suggested you look for. When you know which if any are relevant the answer may become clearer.
