OK, I changed the config in that way: acl manager proto cache_object acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/32 acl localhost src ::1/128 acl to_localhost dst 127.0.0.0/8 0.0.0.0/32 ::1/128 acl localnet src 172.17.0.0/16 acl all src acl SSL_ports port 443 acl Safe_ports port 80 # http acl Safe_ports port 21 # ftp acl Safe_ports port 443 # https acl Safe_ports port 70 # gopher acl Safe_ports port 210 # wais acl Safe_ports port 1025-65535 # unregistered ports acl Safe_ports port 280 # http-mgmt acl Safe_ports port 488 # gss-http acl Safe_ports port 591 # filemakerhttp://XXX/ acl Safe_ports port 777 # multiling http acl CONNECT method CONNECT refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080 refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440 refresh_pattern -i (/cgi-bin/|\?) 0 0% 0 refresh_pattern . 0 20% 4320 http_port 80 accel defaultsite=www.XXX vhost forwarded_for on cache_peer 172.17.2.30 parent 80 0 no-query no-digest originserver name=mysite1 cache_peer 172.17.2.32 parent 80 0 no-query no-digest originserver name=mysite2 cache_peer 172.17.2.116 parent 80 0 no-query no-digest originserver name=mysite3 cache_peer_domain mysite1 www.XXX cache_peer_domain mysite2 wbbltest.XXX cache_peer_domain mysite3 backup.XXX acl my_site1 dstdomain www.XXX acl my_site2 dstdomain wbbltest.XXX acl my_site3 dstdomain backup.XXX acl myaccelport port 80 #acl myaccelport2 port 8080 #cache allow my_site1 #cache allow my_site2 #cache allow my_site3 http_access allow my_site1 myaccelport http_access allow my_site2 myaccelport http_access allow my_site3 myaccelport http_access allow manager localhost http_access allow manager localnet http_access allow localnet http_access allow localhost http_access allow manager http_access deny !Safe_ports #http_access allow all #icp_access deny all #htcp_access deny all #always_direct allow all http_access deny all I noticed something that might be important: my backup ip .116 is a fast website, and the error message is fast to appear. my wbbltest ip .32 is slower, and the error message is muuch much slower to appear (actually i get (110) Connection timed out at first). nslookup of wbbltest.XXX.ch or backup.xxx.ch or backup.ch all return xxx.ch mypublicIP. I still have the same problem...
