Hello!
Tell PLS, how to determine squid auth method?
Which method (for instance, Kerberos) use my ISP squid? How I can determine it?
I tried use telnet:
telnet squid_proxy_local 3128

but seems in output no info about auth method.

Might be none then. Or did you type in a proper valid HTTP request?

Thanks.

The auth types (multiple) available in the proxy are sent in the 407 reply Proxy-Authentication headers.

Any modern browser (except IE) provides "developer tools" to view the details of a page. The easy way is to use these and view the response headers which come back when any request is made.

If you have squidclient tool you can also make any request with "-m HEAD" and see the response headers.
