Correct.

Now I understood Squid is not 100% HTTP 1.1 complaints.

1. Why it that? Too hard to implement?
2. Which parts in the HTTP 1.1 are supported by Squid?

Thanks.

Yes to both. Very many changes both small and large need to be implemented by the proxy. We are constantly working through them as time permits. The smaller easy items are largely done now. Just a few of the bigger or tricky things to go.

I've now added my current checklist of what remains to be done at
http://wiki.squid-cache.org/Features/HTTP11
