hello all,

i've faced an error that i'm not entirely sure how to solve with squid..

whenever i visit the following URL: http://www.ikbis.com/

while using squid i get the following error:

Status: 500 Internal Server Error Content-Type: text/html
500 Internal Server Error

though if browse to this url with no proxy, i could access this site normaly...

i've checked access.log and found this sole line of relevant info:

root@alpha ~]# tail -f /var/log/squid/access.log | grep 192.168.75.139
1244129172.650 1521 192.168.75.139 TCP_MISS/301 597 GET http://www.ikbis.com/ - DIRECT/75.101.139.37 text/html

The page that was (at one time) available at http://www.ikbis.com/ has permanently moved. Judging by the next line, it's moved to http://ikbis.com/

1244129173.252 603 192.168.75.139 TCP_MISS/200 471 GET http://ikbis.com/ - DIRECT/75.101.139.37 text/html

The page at http://ikbis.com/ was delivered to Squid successfully, and (at the time) was not in the cache.

any explanation?

Not really. It's not a Squid problem per se, as Squid appears to be delivering the page given to it. Perhaps using something like the "Live HTTP Headers" plug in for Firefox will give some better clues as to what is going on.
