I'll see if I can get clearance to post a graph or two, but "a major cellphone company which choses not to identify itself" would like to thank the developers for the 3.0-STABLE14 release. After a year of builds which did unfortunate things to themselves every hour or so, 3.0-STABLE14 passed testing without a glitch other than when I ran the logs directory out of filesystem space when it was able to actually handle a full week at the max test case I could generate. We pushed it into production starting Monday - server upsets under load and server VM usage went from an hourly upset cycle per server to not a single one as we upgraded, the MTRG graphs went from spaghetti to a visible sawtooth the first set of upgrades, only a couple of exceptions after the second that got all but a couple of servers, and then flatlined to real stability for the whole environment after the last stragglers today. 25k URLs/sec sustained and they're all running happy as can be. Thanks to everyone! -- -george william herbert george.herbert@xxxxxxxxx
