Thanks again for your input. I tried installing Squid3.0 on my windows and tried the ignore-no-store option. Actually i've added all options eventually (i think all, all the relevant ones). It did not help. Could it be that it does not work in the windows version but will work on the Linux version? I tried the debug option you suggested and it helped me but now i do not understand the result. I tried 3 different files - the first two did not cache and the third DID. I copied the relevant lines from the log but i could not understand the results - the difference is the refreshCheck return code - is this my problem?
