FreeBSD-7 (and FreeBSD-current) + AUFS + COSS works fine in Squid-2.HEAD at least in a polygraph polymix-4 workload. Admittedly I've been testing it in Cacheboy-1.6 rather than Squid-2.HEAD, but the COSS code should be the same as far as this bug is concerned. The fact that you have many pending relocate errors may mean something else is busted, but as far as I can tell you're the only person who has reported that COSS problem in particular.
