 Hello,
I am no longer subscribed to squid-users mailing list,
 please
kindly forward this message to the list.

I receive a lot of emails asking me about updating the
page with "experimental" packages for RHEL.
 Unfortunately, I am no
longer maintaining squid and I don't even have time to
 read all the
mails, as I am busy with other project.

I have updated the page one last time. Hopefully, this will
 be useful
for people using these packages. I updated 2.6 for el4 and
 el5, added
 2.7 for both el4 and el5 and updated 3.0 for el5.

I talked to the new maintainer, and he promised to take
 this page on
his shoulders. I will then update the page and add a link
 to his new
page. He has promised to try to do this as soon as
 possible, so with
little luck, you guys will be kept up-to-date.

Please know that I didn't even test these packages by
 trying to install
them, so be careful. I don't recommend using these
 packages in a
production environment. Especially 2.7. This version was
 never in the
Red Hat Enterprise Linux, nor Fedora.

 The page is here:

I hope you will enjoy it!

 Cheers,
 Martin Nagy
