This might be silly, but i cannot seem to find the cachemgr.cgi on my
ubuntu 7.10, i tried to find them using find / -names 'cachemgr.cgi',
with no luck, did i make a mistake when compiling the squid source?
It's in the squid-cgi package, and installed
in /var/lib/cgi-bin/cachemgr.cgi and /etc/squid/cachemgr.conf

Hi guys, I'm also very new at this but I have build a Suse 10.3 box with
webmin1.410, squid3.0STABLE4 and everything is working and caching fine. I'm
having exactly the same problem that my cachemrg.cgi is not where it should
be.
I've look in /usr/share/doc/packages/squid/scripts/cachemgr.cgi not there.

/usr/share/doc/packages/squid does not exist but squid3 does, so I looked
under

/usr/share/doc/packages/squid3/scripts/ and nothing.

Looked under /var/lib/cgi-bin/cachemgr.cgi and not there but
/etc/squid/cachemgr.conf
 does exist.

Folder /usr/local/squid/libexec/cachemgr.cgi not there. No squid folder
under /usr/local

I have downloaded squid-cachemgr-3.0-4mdv2009.0.i586.rpm and it didn't want
to install because it needed an apache version older that I have an
rpm-helper ect.

I dont know??? Plz help!!
Thanks in advance and keep up the very good work.
You guys save lifes!!

If your system has the locate mechanism you might try using it to find the file.

There was an issue with compiler flags of cachemgr.cgi recently found and fixed. I've just rolled stable6 out with a fix for that. It should be available soon.
