Well, each has pros and cons, so I woudn't call anything "better"..
For example, HAVP can also use other scanners, scan ZIPs partially and has
slightly more intelligent "buffering".
C-ICAP uses a more "native" protocol, but that's about it. It hasn't been
even updated to work with ClamAV 0.93 yet.
Yep, clamav developers changed the clamav library api .... Please if you
find again such problems, report them to the c-icap mailing list.
A patch will be available soon in c-icap's sourceforge download page.
