I could not find a squidmgr_password in our squid.conf file. I tried the command omitting the -W switch. It asked for a WWW password. I tried a few passwords, including the root password. No joy. I also tried entering the following line at the end of our squid.conf file: squidmgr_password squid I restarted the squid service and tried again. Again, no joy. How do I (and what is the syntax) to add a password to the squid.conf file? After I make the changes, I need to restart the service / computer, correct?
