Some servers responds with chunked transfer encoding on HTTP/1.0 requests even if doing so is explicitly forbidden in the HTTP/1.1 specifications. As one of the first steps towards HTTP/1.1 Squid nowdays understands how to read chunked transfer encoding should a server send such encoding to Squid even if it's not allowed. Regards Henrik
