When doing an NTLM login the login name is usually domain/user, while in most other login methods the login name is just the user name. wbinfo_group understands both forms, since it is focused on being used in Windows networks. squid_ldap_group expects a plain user name as login as it's focus is LDAP networks, but can be told via the -S option to ignore any NT domain component of the login name.
