Hi Mohan,

Are you running DNS software on 192.168.1.10/11?

Can you ping 192.168.1.11 from 192.168.1.8?
Can you telnet to 192.168.1.11 on port 3128?

Try:

telnet 192.168.1.11 3128

Since your network subnet is still the same as your DSL gw network, it should also work:

telnet 192.168.1.10 3128

*my squid.conf is below, it consist with default settings and some
other settings from vatious source I tried.
*squid serves the localhost m/c well but not the other clients like MS IE

I don't understand the logic behind defining your 192.168.1.0/24 twice?

acl host1 src 192.168.1.8
http_access allow host1
http_access allow allow_ip
http_access deny all

same for http_access deny all

http_reply_access allow all
icp_access allow all
visible_hostname none
coredump_dir /var/spool/squid

Please help me to solve this problem

Which OS and Squid version are you using?

Do you have any kind of firewall running? If yes, please post us the relevant parts of your firewall.

Thanks in advance

Thanking you...

Mohan
