This happens if Squid receives a SIGINT or SIGTERM signal.

And this indicates it was in fact a SIGTERM. (SIGINT makes the above 0
seconds..)

Squid only sends these signals to itself if you use "squid -k
shutdown" (SIGTERM) or "squid -k interrupt" (SIGINT).
