Probably the site is looking into the X-Forwarded-For header and getting
confused when finding more than one level of IP addresses there..
Try
header_access X-Forwarded-For deny all
in the outermost proxy. This will hide the IP details of your network.
Right!, it works as well.
Another workaround we did it was to make an always_direct acl for the
problematic domain so by this way only a proxy it's used to access it.
