I am running Squid 2.5.STABLE12 No, fixing your OS is sufficient, and even that isn't strictly needed for correct Squid operation as it's not dependent on the local time zone. But the DST OS update (or lack thereof) may affect cache.log output timestamps and custom error pages using the local time zone to display the date. Regards Henrik
