I have a very sticky problem. My squid machine is between LAN and my DSL modem.Eth0 is is connected to LAN switch while Eth1 is connected with the DSL modem.I have following in my rc.local for tranparent proxy and masquerading. /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128 iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p udp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128 iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE Are my above lines ok ??
