squid.conf, client_persistent_connections, default on.

I am only using NTLM auth with squid. Since there are two TCP_DENIED
entries for every one page request using NTLM, is it true that my
TCP_DENIED count should roughly equal 2*(TCP_HIT + TCP_MISS + et.
al.)?
