RE: 2.6 documentation

I'm only using the %w in my footer but %s still shows up on the page.
And not by choice, but I'm running 2.6-stable5NT, and not of my own
compile.

My error pages end with:

If you feel you have reached this page in error please contact the
website administrator at <A HREF="mailto:%w";>%w

So, does "The Squid default signature is added automatically unless %s
is used in the error page. To change the signature you must manually
append the signature to each error page." mean that I must use %s to not
get the default? And if so is there a place to define %s ??
