It seems to be undesired behavior :-| The peer selection is the same in both modes. By default all peers is candidates for all requests, this is then narrowed down by cache_peer_access/domain, and only the peers left will be used. The "default" flag etc is just tuning of which of the available candidates Squid prefers to use. Regards Henrik
