Where can be problem now.

You haven't specified the correct port. You have told cachemgr to talk
to your web server, not Squid.

The address AND port needs to match your http_port in squid.conf, i.e.
the same as you use for proxy settings in the browser.

I use squid as transparent proxy. I have no settings for proxy in my browser. When I set my public ip address with port 3128 Ireceive:

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: cache_object://my.pub.lic.ip/

The following error was encountered:

   * Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

Your cache administrator is master.
Generated Fri, 28 Apr 2006 10:04:35 GMT by proxy.mydomain.cz (squid/2.5.STABLE9)
