   John,

I used for a long time ReiserFS and I had problems with Reiser's smart writing. (see http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200603/0903.html ).

After upgrading to XFS, just blue skies.

When you create the XFS disk partitions do you use any special options
or any special options when you mount the partition? (For reiserfs it
was recommended to use the notail, noatime mount options.)

Thanks,

John.
